Long-time Children in Crisis (CIC) Board Member and volunteer Judy Wiseman gave the children living at the CIC Neighborhood a real opportunity last week. She asked friends from the local community to assist with Angel Trees for CIC for the 13th year!
The volunteers donated new school clothes, shoes, gift cards, and books to help the CIC children and teens celebrate a joyful Holiday Season.
Ken Hair, CIC President, and CEO commented, “I can't thank Judy and the team enough for their wonderful support to CIC and our children. We give a home, food, clothing and care to over 100 children each year and this donation will go a long way in keeping our dream alive. Thank You!”
Children in Crisis, Inc. is a non-profit, 501, (c), (3) charity of caring people from the community. The CIC Children's Neighborhood has an emergency shelter for abused, neglected, and abandoned children removed from an unsafe environment on short notice and family foster homes for those children who need a more-permanent home. The teen transition home prevents children still attending high school that are aging out of the foster care system from becoming homeless.
