The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) has announced Cindy Cole as its newest Board member.
The career-long entrepreneur relocated to Destin in 2009 from Atlanta, and began her real estate career. Well known in Northwest Florida, Cole is the top selling Realtor in the Keller Williams 5-state Gulf Coast region. She has been named as one of “America’s Best Real Estate Agents” by RealTrends and the Wall Street Journal. Her Cindy Cole Fine Homes brand is widely recognized as a top luxury real estate brand in the Destin area.
In addition to her successful business career here, Cole has been very active in the non-profit community with a focus on improving the lives of women and at-risk children. An active member of Destin United Methodist Church, Cole contributes time and resources to many local and regional charities, including Sinfonia Gulf Coast, Alaqua Animal Refuge, Sandcastle Kids, Althea’s Legacy, Mercy Multiplied, and now the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center.
Cole commented, “It is my great honor to work with Julie Porterfield, ECCAC CEO, and her dedicated staff, to protect and improve the lives of our community's children.”
ECCAC has been operating for over 20 years with centers in Niceville and the Pierce Family Children’s Advocacy Center in DeFuniak Springs. It has provided over 150,000 services at no cost to more than 15,000 children experiencing abuse, abandonment or neglect to include mental health therapy, crisis intervention, referrals to other community providers, interviews and medicals.
