Enjoy the music of a brilliant musician on Wednesday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m., when St. Andrew’s By-the-Sea hosts renown organist, Friedemann Stihler. Mr. Stihler will be playing the organ in the St. Andrew’s By-the-Sea sanctuary and this short live-stream concert will be available via his Facebook page or in person. Mr. Stihler has a 40-year career in sacred music and is currently the Music Director at St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church in McDonough, GA. He has played over 250” Rockin’ Organ” concerts, and his passion for rock and organ music has evolved into a ministry to aid children in Africa. Drawing rave reviews was his creative arrangement combining Schuburt’s Ave Maria with Satchmo’s What a Wonderful World. Friedemann and his wife immigrated to the United States from Germany in 2018 on a 01 Visa (person of outstanding ability).
