Museum Trustee Receives Preservation & Stewardship Award

’s Board of Trustees, was recognized at the general membership meeting on Nov. 17, and received the 2016 Kenneth E. Bailey Preservation & Stewardship Award. This annual award is given to one member of the Board of Trustees, who exemplifies giving of their time, talent, and treasure. Plank, who has served as a trustee since 2010, serves on multiple committees, including events, research, collections, and exhibits. Shel also serves on the executive committee as secretary.

Landrum HR President Elected to APEC Board
announced that President Britt Landrum III has been elected as vice chairman and industry director of the APEC Board. APEC (Alliance for PEO Electronic Compliance) is a non-profit organization set up by the Employer Services Assurance Corporation to develop automated solutions for the PEO industry. Landrum's initial two-year term began on Dec. 30, 2016. In addition to being elected as vice chairman for the APEC Board, Landrum is also an active board member in the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, serving as chair for the Operations and Technology Planning Committee.
