The mission of IMPACT 100 of Northwest Florida, Inc., is to financially support nonprofit organizations in Okaloosa and Walton counties. Created in 2012, IMPACT 100 of Northwest Florida has awarded $2.7 million in grants to local nonprofit organizations, including five $101,600 grants in 2019.
Nonprofits need support to provide services to those in need in Okaloosa and Walton counties. Every membership dollar is added to the IMPACT 100 of Northwest Florida’s 2020 nonprofit grant award fund. Grants are awarded within five focus areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Recreation and Preservation, Family and Health & Wellness.
IMPACT 100 NWF is pleased to announce a record number of nonprofits completing the first step of the grant process. When the application process is complete, Grant Review Committees will visit sites and review project details to determine the grant finalist. In late October, members will then hear from the grant finalists and determine the 2020 grant recipients.
Interested in being a part of this philanthropic work? We are recruiting members to join our IMPACT 100 NWF 2020 membership base. Member involvement ranges from simply being a voting member to grant committees and community partnership liaisons. Deadline to join is May 31, 2020.
For women between the ages of 21 to 39 who may not have the financial resources to join IMPACT 100 NWF, we offer a NextGen Program. Providing partial sponsorship over a three year period, giving young woman an opportunity to become IMPACT 100 NWF members and engage with the community while learning the lessons of philanthropy. The program aims to empower these women to be ambassadors for a generation that is dedicated to giving and serving in Okaloosa and Walton counties.
