Joy Huckaby Receives Eglin Federal Credit Union's 5-Star Performer Award for the 3rd Quarter

Eglin Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce Accounts Payable Specialist/Fixed Assets Specialist Joy Huckaby has been selected as the 5-Star Performer of the 3rd Quarter of 2022. Joy has been employed with the Credit Union since October 2005 and currently resides in Navarre.

Senior Vice President of Accounting Carlene Grant said, “Joy has been part of the Accounting Department since 2007 and is a valuable part of our team. She’s an expert in her job and is relied upon heavily by the other departments and branches at EFCU. We’re grateful for her many years of service.”
After graduating from Northwest Florida State College in 2005 with an associate degree in accounting, Joy began working at EFCU in the ATM department, working in Special Services and then transferred to Accounting. She also serves as the President’s Executive Assistant.

Her supervisor Jessica Wilcox added, “Joy always goes out of her way to help in any situation by actively listening to teammates, board members, vendors and members. Others look to her for guidance and Credit Union expertise.” 

The 5-Star Performer Award is a quarterly employee recognition program. The nominator provides a written submission describing how the employee embraces EFCU's Five-Star Values: Respectful, Trustworthy, Dedicated, Proactive and Engaged.

“I really enjoy the team I work with at the Credit Union,” Joy said. “In my position, I get to see all the different pieces of the whole organization, and how they all work together. It’s really amazing, and I love the people here.”
