    Panhandle Craft Distillery Introduces Florida's First Bourbon
    Timber Creek Distillery will launch a new signature line of Florida whiskeys on March 11, at the annual Alys Beach Bourbon, Beer, and Butts Festival. Straight from the Gulf Coast, Timber Creek Distillery handcrafts every batch using the finest grains grown in Florida. Timber Creek whiskeys are made from at least 95 percent Florida grown grains using separate barrels for each grain. Aged in charred Missouri Oak, the grains are custom blended to create the distinct flavors behind its Timber Creek Florida Bourbon, Timber Creek Reserve Florida Bourbon Whiskey, and Timber Creek Black Rye Whiskey. 

    Sugar Beach Interiors Celebrates 30 Years in Business on the Emerald Coast
    Sugar Beach Interiors proudly celebrated 30 years of business in Miramar Beach on Thursday, Feb. 25. More than 50 clients and friends joined owner Karen Waterfield at Sugar Beach Interiors for the company’s Pearl Anniversary party. Guests enjoyed dinner by Celestine’s and live music by David Seering.
     
    Twin Cities Hospital’s 2015 Dr. Frist Humanitarian Award Recipients Announced
    Twin Cities HospitalTwin Cities Hospital recently announced its recipients of the 2015 Dr. Frist Humanitarian Awards.  At a luncheon in Niceville, David Whalen, CEO, presented awards to Dr. Richard Hughes (left), Sandie Brosnan (right, employee), and Yolanda Byrd (volunteer).  These individuals are now eligible for the Nationwide 2015 Dr. Frist Humanitarian Award, the highest honor an employee, volunteer, and physician can receive at HCA, the parent company of Twin Cities Hospital.  In addition to a framed certificate and lapel pin, the recipients also received monetary allocations to be donated to the charitable organization(s) of their choice. 

    Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center Seeks Volunteers
    The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) will soon have two child-friendly centers, one in Niceville and one in DeFuniak Springs. Volunteers in various capacities are always needed. Volunteers can serve at either of the centers, or at any of the fundraising events. The most immediate need is for volunteers is at the upcoming annual signature event, a Golf & Gala. The Gala is March 12 at the Hilton Sandestin Beach, followed the next day by a golf tournament at Kelly Plantation Golf Club.

    Fraternal Order of the Eagles Donate to Children in Crisis
    Children In CrisisKen Hair, Children In Crisis (CIC) president and CEO, receives a donation of $350 and shopping carts full of food to help feed, clothe, and care for the children living at the CIC Neighborhood from Ginnie Kameeniei with the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.     Keller Williams Emerald Coast Recognizes Agent Achievements 
    Keller Williams Realty recently hosted its national convention with 20,000 attendees in New Orleans. Jeff Adamson, broker and operational head of KW Emerald Coast Realty was selected to speak on a panel on how to successfully start a luxury homes brand. Adamson was chosen for this panel because his Emerald Coast Market Center grew its Luxury Division larger than any other office in the KW system this past year.  

    Last week, the five KW Emerald Coast Realty offices representing 262 agents held their first annual awards luncheon. The following received awards:
    -    Top Associate of the Year - Cindy Cole
    -    Top Listing Associate - Meghan Hall 
    -    Top Sales Team - Team Baranowski
    -    Top Sales Group - The Kelly Group 
    -    Rookie of the Year - Heather Blatz

    Grayton Beer Company Announces Major Expansion 
    Grayton Beer Company is finalizing a staggering expansion. The locally owned and operated brewery recently announced it is increasing the current brewing capacity to meet the demands of their distribution reach. The brewery expanded its production capacity with the addition of four 120-barrel fermenters and one 275-barrel brite tank. The new equipment increases the brewery’s capacity by more than 1,000 barrels per month, roughly 29,000 gallons. Started in 2011 by founder Jamey Price, Grayton Beer Company has been successful throughout the Florida panhandle for the last five years. This success, in combination with the brewery’s growth, has propelled the company’s launch into new markets including middle Tennessee and all of Georgia. Until recently, Grayton Beer was only distributed in Alabama and the panhandle of Florida.

    Okaloosa Arts Alliance Poster Contest 
    The Okaloosa Arts Alliance (OAA) would like to invite all Okaloosa County School students to participate in the 7th Annual OAA Okaloosa County School Poster Contest. The OAA wants to know what you consider “Summer Fun.”  It can be anything you can create on paper with markers, pencils, paint, pastels, charcoal, or crayons.  There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner for three elementary school students (K-4), for three middle school students (5-7), and for three high school students (8-12) in Okaloosa County. Each 1st place winner will receive a $75 gift card, each 2nd place winner will receive a $50 gift card, and each 3rd place winner will receive a $25 gift card.
