Mendy Gregory Joins Progress Bank as Mortgage Loan Officer

Mortgage Division Manager Woody Woodfin announced today that Mendy Gregory has joined Progress Bank as Mortgage Loan Officer.

“Mendy’s long history of banking in the Destin area will be a huge benefit as we continue to expand our Mortgage services throughout the Florida panhandle,” said Woodfin. “She is well respected in the local community, and we are thankful to have her on board.”

Gregory began her banking career of more than 27 years right out of high school, starting at a small community bank in Destin and hasn't looked back since. Her banking roles have consisted of various positions including teller, trainer, construction administration and branch manager, finally landing in Mortgage in 2012 when she became an originator.

Passionate about giving back, Gregory currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Walton County Habitat for Humanity. She is a current member of the Women's Council of Realtors Emerald Coast, previously serving their Board for four years and was named Strategic Partner of the Year in 2019 by the organization. In addition, Gregory is a long-standing member of both the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors and The Building Industry Association of Okaloosa-Walton Counties, Inc.
