The White-Wilson Community Foundation (WWCF) has reopened grant applications acceptance to groups that serve Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton counties and have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Through WWCF’s community health grant program, organizations can apply for funding for programs that have been negatively affected during this period. The grant application is available at whitewilsoncommunityfoundation.org and is open to any nonprofit or not-for-profit health organizations serving residents of those counties.

“During these uncertain times, we understand that many organizations may be experiencing an increased need for funding and supplies,” said WWCF Chair Bob Perry. “As an organization whose mission is to increase access to health care for underserved residents, it is only right for us to provide support where we can while we are in the midst of this unprecedented health crisis.”

Grant applications from affected organizations will be accepted on a rolling basis as the pandemic continues to affect the community and will be reviewed as they are received. Funding for this grant program comes through events such as the annual Little Black Dress Party and the Run For the Health of It 5K/8K.
