On Monday, March 13, Destin Middle School celebrated its new tennis courts with a ribbon cutting. The Okaloosa County School District is proud to announce this year’s Teacher of the Year is Mr. Royal Preston, Construction Teacher at Okaloosa Technical College. Preston is a product of Okaloosa County Schools. KID CAMPS ARCHERY CAMP: A Bullseye Archery Camp will be held at the Destin Sports Complex softball field on Monday, June 20th thru Friday June 24th. Camp will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm for incoming 4th and 5th graders, and 3:00 to 5:00 pm for incoming 6th graders and above. The fee is $55 for Destin residents and $65 for non-residents. Each participant must be present on the first two days of camp (Monday and Tuesday), for safety lessons. Participants are encouraged to wear closed toe shoes and secure long
