As part of its 2022 philanthropic initiatives, the Be the Magic Foundation Board of Directors selected the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge as one of 12 nonprofit partners for the year. During the Chamber's May 27 Progressive Business After Hours, HomeFi Digital Mortgage gave away a $100 donation to the charity of the winner's choice. The winner was Adam York of Congruence Talent Solutions, and his choice was to split the donation between the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge and Kohltan Ward #KohltanStrongForever. HomeFi Digital Mortgage will make a donation of $50 each in Adam's name.

The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge recently hosted founding members and board of directors from Sunday’s Child to tour the new radiology suite located on our campus located at 3051 Cloptons Circle, in Navarre. The addition of new digital radiology equipment was made possible by grants awarded to ECWR from Sunday’s Child and the Levin Family Foundation. Tuesday, April 06, 2021Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge Receives $10,000 to Support Pelican Rehabilitation Center
Saltwater Restaurants, Inc. has donated $10,000 to cover the rehabilitation costs for pelicans that have become injured or orphaned along the Destin-Fort Walton Beach area. The funds will assist with the treatment costs at Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge (ECWR) where trained specialists work to help the pelicans heal with their injury and be returned back to their environment.
