On Saturday, Feb. 27, over 2,000 people packed the Destin Harbor for the 2nd Annual Shrimp & Grits Festival. Henderson Park Inn is partnering with local non-profit, Food For Thought, to virtually stock the pantry for the 2020 school year with a monetary donations in lieu of physical food donations. Food For Thought feeds more than 3,330 students per week in our community. Its goal is to start the school year with $150,000 to help stock the pantry with food for the children in our community. Henderson Park Inn is set to reopen to the public on Friday, May 15. The team behind the Inn has worked diligently to create a new set of procedures in order to better protect their guests and employees. Beach Walk Café, located within Henderson Park Inn, will reopen to the public on Thursday, May 7, for take-out and delivery service.
