SOF Missions Announces Great News for Veterans
Last week, we got some very exciting updates that I couldn’t wait to share with our SOF Missions family! As of January 17, the Veterans Comprehensive Act of 2020 has FINALLY been activated! Among other things, this act allows veterans in suicidal crises to go to ANY healthcare facility for FREE emergency health care. This means that, with your support, we’ll be able to get more help for our nation’s warriors around the country than ever before! Will You Help a Veteran this Christmas — and Beyond?
Hello Destin, As a 20-year veteran in Special Operations, I’ve gone through many challenges because of my military service and time in combat. So in 2011, my wife and I felt called to start SOF Missions as a way to serve our fellow brothers and sisters in arms. The hard reality is that, every day, more than 20 of our nation's veterans take their own lives. I could have been one of them... These are the brave men and women who fight so courageously to protect our livelihood and this should not be the endWednesday, September 21, 2022
You just have TWO weeks left...
Hello Destin, Sixty-five minutes isn’t a lot of time. It’s shorter than a movie and maybe the length of a meeting at work. Yet every 65 minutes, one of our nation’s veterans takes his or her own life. I want you to know that YOU can stand up and help them. These men and women don’t have to be left on their own to fend for themselves. In two short weeks on the evening of October 8, we’ll host our annual TPA Social. This event is a hands-on way that YOU can make a difference in the lives of ourTuesday, March 23, 2021
Letter from SOF Missions: Emergency Funds Needed
Donate Here 1. We don't normally send emails like this, but this is a unique circumstance. 2. SOF Missions is continuing to work hard to empower veterans to find purpose and be resilient. We aim to provide premier whole health programs to at-risk veterans; changing lives and building strong families. We offer a unique approach to combat veteran suicide through a whole health intradisciplinary method. But, the reality of COVID-19’s impact to our programs began last year when we had to cancel many of ourTuesday, March 16, 2021
Did you know that every day more than 22 veterans take their own lives?
Veterans who’ve been deployed to places like Afghanistan and Iraq are coming back broken. Some are in financial trouble. Many of them don't have healthcare coverage. Yet they're dealing with issues like concussions, sleep deprivation, insomnia and PTSD. These are husbands and wives, fathers and mothers — precious family members just like us... But YOU are helping SOF Missions do something about it. With your support, we just completed our first Be Resilient Clinic of the year at the Saddlebrook Resort inTuesday, July 07, 2020
SOF Missions Combats the Veteran Suicide Crisis by Restoring Purpose, Resiliency, and Life After Service
Shield of Faith (SOF) Missions is a non-profit organization serving our Nation’s warriors. The purpose of SOF Missions is to combat the veteran suicide crisis by restoring purpose, resiliency, and life after service. The scars of war took a huge toll on Friedman physically, psychologically, mentally, and spiritually. He experienced a traumatic brain injury
