Palate and Palette Volunteers Needed
We are so excited for this year's Palate and Palette event and cannot wait to see this amazing production that this night will generate within our community. We are currently accepting food donations for Holiday Meals this December so that we can provide a delicious Holiday feast for those living in the Emergency Shelter and for survivors of domestic violence in Okaloosa and Walton counties. If you are willing and able to donate, please drop off your donations by December 20 at our Main Office at 16 Ferry Road SE in Fort Walton Beach. We are thankful for your help! Drum roll please... Shelter House's 5th Annual Palate & Palette Four-Course Wine Dinner & Live Painting event was a huge success! With two intimate dinners and a brand new virtual silent auction, Shelter House made its COVID-19 safe event accessible to all. Thursday, August 06, 2020Shelter House welcomes Rachelle Wyatt as Volunteer Coordinator
Amidst COVID 19, Shelter House has hired Rachelle Wyatt, a 2019 graduate of Florida State University, as the Program and Volunteer Coordinator. With her background in Hospitality, Wyatt will lead efforts in recruiting and coordinating volunteers for the various Shelter House events and donation drives. Wyatt comes from a background of event planning and coordination in the Destin and Fort Walton Beach area.
