Destin, Fla., August 5 – During its Aug. 14 Business Before Hours Candidates Forum, the Destin Chamber will host candidates for Florida House of Representatives District 4, Okaloosa County Commission District 5, and Okaloosa County Superintendent of Schools. Recently the Arc of the Emerald Coast installed new flooring and appliances at the Fort Walton Beach Adult Day Training Center, which is a program that offers adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities a variety of opportunities to have fun, be creative, learn, and be productive. The much-needed renovation of the Adult Center was made possible thanks to a generous donation of $20,000 in December from Mills Heating and Air.
