Attendees will learn about cancer prevention through diet and lifestyle changes, enjoy delicious food samples, and take home lots of cancer-fighting recipes.
Join Registered Dietitian Julee Christie on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 12:00 – 1 p.m. to explore why plant-based foods are so crucial for overall health. Christie will debunk myths about cancer, diet, and supplements and talk about evidence-based recommendations for cancer prevention through diet and how to incorporate these foods into your daily life.
Christie will provide recipes and food samples to illustrate the topics discussed.
The goal of this nutrition class is to provide attendees with valuable information on how certain foods and lifestyle changes can significantly improve your health and work to prevent cancer. Participants are invited to bring along their lunch to enjoy with the food samples provided.
Class size is limited to 30 participants.
