Destin Tourism & Hospitality Lunch: Focus on Eco-Tourism
On March 10, our Tourism & Hospitality Group will host an Eco-Tourism panel discussion with Alex Fogg, Marine Resource Coordinator with Okaloosa County Tourist Development; Allison Wickey, Cultural Arts Alliance Past Board President, UMA Co-Founder and Artist; and Trey Tisdale, Gator Park Manager at Fudpucker's Beachside Bar & Grill. From lionfish and gators to underwater museums, learn how eco-tourism is bringing visitors to our area and how we can continue to promote and grow eco-tourism opportunities.
Anyone involved in a tourism-related business or with an interest in area tourism is welcome to attend. Registration is due by 5 p.m., on Monday, March 8.
The Tourism & Hospitality Group's mission is to bring value to the Destin tourism community through training and information and to become a unified voice of hospitality-based businesses whose success is centered on the tourism industry in our area.
The cost is $25 for Destin Chamber members and $50 for non-chamber members. Registration is required, and no shows will be billed!
