Emerald Coast Boat Club Open House

Emerald Coast Marine Group President Shawn Talpey has announced the official launch of the Emerald Coast Boat Club and its grand opening and inaugural open house on April 20, along with the appointment of Annamarie Worrell to serve as its sales and marketing manager. The full-service marine retailer says this latest development is in keeping with the dealership’s goal to feature a full array of boating services to the community.
 
“Our dealership is dedicated to providing a comprehensive platform of boating services, from new and premium preowned boat sales, to our recently launched ECM Yachts and brokerage division, to our marina wet slip and dry storage, to our parts and service department and our yacht club membership with world class amenities,” said Talpey. “With the new launch of our Emerald Coast Boat Club, we now offer even more ways for area boaters to experience and enjoy boating.”
 
The Emerald Coast Boat Club offers a fleet of new boats including deckboats, sportboats, center consoles and pontoons from leading boat brands. Members pay a one-time initiation fee and choose from available monthly membership plans. Members access an online reservation system, enjoy free boat instruction and based on the plan selected, may have full access to yacht club amenities. A special advantage is the 7:1 member-to-boat ratio.  
 
“Prior to launching our club in this market, we conducted extensive research on the boat club sharing model to understand best practices,” said Talpey. “We believe our boat club offers a tremendous opportunity for boaters in our market to enjoy the very best of the boating lifestyle at minimal investment. The inaugural Emerald Coast Boat Club open house has been slated for Saturday, April 20 from 10 am – 3 pm and will be held on the docks of Emerald Coast Marine, 115 West John Sims Parkway in Niceville. Annamarie Worrell, a Niceville native and boating industry veteran, has been hired as the Emerald Coast Boat Club Sales & Marketing Manager. Prior to joining Emerald Coast Marine Group, Worrell previously worked for two major boat dealerships in the region in key marketing positions. She was also recently appointed to represent Emerald Coast Marine Group as one as one of 13 marine industry stakeholders to serve on the North American Sober Skipper Advisory Council which addresses national boating safety initiatives.
 
“As an active boater myself, I love working in the boating industry and am very excited to be onboard full-time with the great staff at Emerald Coast Marine,” said Worrell. “I really look forward to helping locals get on the water to experience and enjoy boating through the boat club, and also am excited to work with businesses in the community to establish strong community partnerships.”
