The Junior League of the Emerald Coast hosts the 8th annual Touch-A-Truck, taking place at Destin Commons on Nov. 6, 2021, which will feature a variety of vehicles from the community.
The JLEC is proud to bring Touch-A-Truck to the Destin Commons for the 8th year in a row. Touch-A-Truck will give families an opportunity to explore and learn about a wide variety of vehicles and how they serve our community. We believe in keeping the health of our members, volunteers, and community in mind so therefore, social distancing and mask wearing will be encouraged and hand sanitizer stations will be available. Families will be able to touch trucks, construction vehicles, city service vehicles, military support vehicles and public safety equipment.
The event will take place from 11am – 3pm. There will be a special horn free hour from 2pm – 3pm for children with special needs or sensitive hearing. Entry fee for the event will be $2/person or $5/family. This year we will offer VIP hour from 11 AM – 12 PM. The VIP experience limits crowds so your little one doesn’t have to worry about long lines to see their favorite trucks. Please inquire about the VIP Hour by emailing email@example.com
. All donations go towards The Junior League of the Emerald Coast to support various projects such as the Child Clothing Project which clothes children in need in Okaloosa and Walton counties.
We would like to give a special thank you to all the participating organizations and companies. Without your support our event would not be possible!
